Application & Development Process
The following stages are an only a brief indication of the Application and Store Development Process and may vary to some degree.
STAGE 1 – Complete the “Apply for a Franchise Form”.
STAGE 2 - Allied Brands Services Limited assesses your application and arranges a face to face meeting with you to discuss your application in detail.
STAGE 3 – Following the first meeting Allied Brands then formally approves your application if you meet the required selection criteria which is determined by your personality, your experience and your financial structure.
STAGE 4 – You will then be contacted and the necessary agreements will be made which includes signing the order, paying a deposit, discussing store costs and progress payments, and providing you with the necessary legal documentation for your review.
STAGE 5 – We then discuss the business location, and offer you sites which we have pre-qualified using our team of experts. We are also open to suggestions if you have a particular location in mind, and will consider it along with our shortlist of potential sites.
STAGE 6 - The Development process then begins. We make all arrangements from this point forward which includes lease negotiation, to store planning, design and construction, and all the specialist tasks along the way. You are kept informed of the progress at every stage.
STAGE 7 – Prior to your store opening you undertake an intensive training program at Head Office and company training store on the Gold Coast.
STAGE 8 – Your official store opening will be planned and you are now a fully fledged franchisee in the Baskin Robbins system.
